Dr. Katy Laws is a native of Swansboro, North Carolina. She specializes in adult diagnostics, amplification and aural rehabilitation. Dr. Laws received her undergraduate degree in communication sciences and disorders from East Carolina University. She joined Audiology and Hearing Aid Services in 2019 to complete her externship. Dr. Laws graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Doctor of Audiology in 2020.
She was inspired to become an audiologist after one of her friends in high school was diagnosed with a genetic condition which schwannomas, or benign tumors, grow along the nervous system and can affect hearing and balance. Her mission is to guide her patients to live confidently with their hearing loss.
In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, cheering on the Savannah Ghost Pirates and cuddling with her Bernese Mountain Dog, Delaney.
